Default Bad Boy Buggy controller problem

I have a 2013 recoil is and I have had nothing but trouble and anger with the dealer as well as EZ Go. I was told that the rear controller went out and the replacement cost was $1550 just for the part. I called EZ Go Tech support and the guy was a jerk and could not answer a simple question about the controller. I was wondering if I could purchase another controller and I couldn't get a answer. Then I asked about the controller and it's specs and that couldn't be answered. I know that the buggy has dual 300 amp controllers but what was the volt ratings? 24-36 volt or what? I thought since it was a 72 volt buggy then two controllers should be 36 volts per. But I couldn't get them to confirm that. What's the deal? Does anyone know?

I had the same problem with a 2016. Dealer eventually got the 2 year warranty for commercial honored but repair took 3 months!

It's supposed to be 72V, (six 12v cells). But a little tip about this setup...both the front and rear controls use the exact same software. One harness has an extra connection to B+ to signal to the rear control that it's to be the master of the pair. FSIP tests and repairs those 1236s. But since the software on each is the same you could potentially have the working one (or broken one if its a hardware issue) cloned onto a new unit.
