Default Lights issue

Kind of a strange one.

Tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights work just fine, until I turn on the headlights.

Turn the headlights on, and all is well until I hit the brakes. Then the passenger side taillight and brake light both go out, while all other lights continue as they should.

Any thoughts or ideas to try?

passenger side properly wired wrong
brake lights and turn are same
head lights should only turn on running lights (dimmer than brake lights)
take off drivers side and see how it is wired

Two fold problem.....

The connecting plug for the passenger side had a bent tang, so it won't make full connection.

Fixed that and still no happiness.

Pulled the connector and I had voltage on both the taillight & the brakelight feeds.

Plugged the connector back together and pulled bulb sockets, and then pulled the bulb. Tested the socket and I had 12.6volts on both the tail light & the brake light side of the bulb socket.

There it is!

The prior owner had put the wrong bulb (a single filament) in the socket.
