You are going into some uncharted territory .....I tried your link and it didn't work.... I think your best bet is to just use the original diagram but up the voltage on the voltage sensitive parts. that way you can use your same speed control? Is it a wiper board? How many solenoids in the orig? Not sure about this one at all......

It may be a wild goose chase but I think Taylor Dunn made some industial carts that were 48v and solenoid speed controls? NOT sure like I said but, closest thing to what you are trying to do I can think of.....If it were me I would look into converting to a different type of speed control system.

For the cost of all those solenoids plus the hassle you might be able to convert to an electronic speed control for about the same price.

You will need:

1. A 48 volt controller. (a 100 amp controller will not work. You need at least 200-300 amps.)
2. A 48 volt solenoid
3. A 0-5K ohm throttle pot. (PB-6, not a generic chinese knockoff)
4. All the wire and cables.
*This is assuming you have the right charger and batteries.

There is a few generic series wiring diagrams on the forum. Look in the ezgo forum. You will have to fabricate throttle mounts or whatever is needed....then mount the other components.

Heres a generic series wiring schematic.
