Battery question
I have a 05 Bad Boy Buggy 4wd, 48V. It currently has 8 6v Trojan T-145 batteries. I have had the cart for about 2.5 years. I do not know how old the batteries are, but I know they are needing replaced.
My questions is should I go back with 8 6V, or can I go with 4 12V batteries? What are the advantages of 6V vs 8V vs 12v? I was looking into these batteries: http://usbattery.com/products/12-vol...s/us-31dc-xc2/. Does anyone have any experience with the US31 DC XC batteries? |

Re: Battery question
if you have the room for 8-6v batteries that is the way to go, more lead equals more run time. If you don't have the room for the extra 2 batteries stick with 6-8v batts and you will still have more run time than you would if you went with 4-12v batts. My brother has the US batteries in his cart and performance has been good, that is my only personal observation of the US batts as most people i know have trojans in there carts.
