Battery Question
I have a 48v golf cart I use all the time. Have over 1000 miles on it in a year and a half. Some trips are 30+ miles. I have Trojan 8V x 6 batteries.
Here is my question: I rarely (once just a small amount) have to add distilled water. I was checking every 2 weeks at first now I check every 2 months. I always plug in cart when I get back to the garage. Is this bad? My previous CC cart with 48V I was adding water every 2 weeks or a month at max. Same battery model. Not complaining here, just curious. Both carts started with new batteries. Thanks for any thoughts... M |

Re: Battery Question
From your signature, it appears that your new cart is a much newer cart and also a very significant upgrade from your previous cart. Newer electrics and probably a higher quality changing system. Even though the batteries are the same, those in the new cart are being treated much better by their overall system.
