Battery scrap price
Am likely switching to lithium battery pack and have put the 8v 2013 pd plus batteries for sale on Craigslist. Guy told me that at this age they are only worth scrap lead. I get several miles out of them no problem so not sure if I should try to sell or just call the scrap guy?

All depends on the weight and what the market is paying for lead. The lead is what is recycled. It's something like $18 per. Thats what they gave me for the "cores" when I bought my new Trojans...

Around here, if you traded those in for new LA batteries; the core would be $25. So expect to get less than that for them as scrape.
