Default Throttle sensor ports

Anyone know why I would have 3 ports on my carts throttle sensor? ? Normally there are only 2 right? My cart is a 48volt cart.

What kind of cart is this?
Some Chinese throttle sensors have three connections.

1. Power
2. Signal out (usually 0 to +5V)
3. ground

No. It will be incompatible with your controller.
What kind of controller do you have?
Can you give us a picture?

Clearly, that is a Chinese controller.
Is there a 10 pin plug that attaches to the front of the controller?

What is going on with the cart? Does the solenoid click?

It’s a 16 pin. The cart will not move. The solenoid clicks and the motor hums but it will not move. If I take the wire coming from the controller to the throttle sensor and disconnect it from the thrills sensor and touch it to metal the cart will move.

Ok. I see three wires attached to the throttle sensor. Judging from the picture, they appear to be black, orange and pink. Do all three of those wires lead back to the 16 pin plug on the controller? Which one do you disconnect from the sensor and touch to metal to get the cart to run?

I am disconnecting the orange wire. When the orange wire is pulled from the throttle sensor and touch it to the frame it will move. I believe they all connect back to the controller.
