cushman omc ignition wiring schematic
Hi everyone
recently bought a r three wheel cushman turf truck with the OMC twin cylinder engine no spark to plugs points are firing getting pulse signal to #1 then to #2 coil 12 volts at ballast resistor 8 volts coming out stuck at this point still no spark at plugs anyone have any info on ignition wiring or schematic on how the ignition system work been googling my butt off to try to find info not having any luck ANY info would be greatly appreciated |

You pretty much got a good idea of how it all works
Like you said is long as your getting power out of the ballast resistor to the points through the Coils These engines like to eat points so it’s a good idea to go ahead and put a points and condenser on it Usually that does the trick but if not I would suggest spark plug wires and coils Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
