Default Best Electric Cart to Buy

I want to buy a raised electric 4 passenger cart. Which brand would be best to buy. Used / New? I live in a beach environment so that may be a factor as well and will be carrying 4 people regularly. I won't be traveling more then 9 miles on any given day. I have read pros and cons but it seems to be persuaded by the websites that want to sell their brands. I can figure out the optional add-ons after I find the cart that will best suit our needs. Need a little help for the newbie..

I'd stick with one of the big 3, Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha. Much more aftermarket parts available as well as ease in finding replacement parts. In addition, since there are way more of these 3 carts out there, there are plenty of folks who can help with trouble shooting and give advise on wiring and such.

For purposes of getting aftermarket parts, it seems some where 2000 and newer carts have more available.

I'm with CTD. I like the Club Cars for the reason of the aluminum frame.

What he said. Aluminum frame will last a lifetime near the beach. All the salt in the air wreaks havoc on steel

Salt will still do a number on aluminum and not everything on a club car is aluminum so it can have rust issues as well. That being said the big 3 are your best bet. Just find the design you like best.

E-Z-GO Elite, cuts out the battery maintenance, better performance than Lead/Acid
