Melex electric 4 wheel

Good Day to all. I have an issue that I believe is with a Relay, it looks like a old horn relay with 2 spade termianls sticking out, inside one wire goes to what appears to be a small coil and the other to what looks like a contact. This overheated and melted on the inside for some reason (short maybe) right now the cart will move forward or backward without the key being turned on, but this "relay" gets hot unless you take it out of forward or reverse. I do not have a wiring diagram so I can't provide any more information. Te following is on the top of this relay UD-01-X-36V and just below this information is 78-10 I would appreciate a call 214-228-1550 or my email is ctstradley@earthlink.net if anyone could assist me in locating the above part or even tell me what this part is.
