Gas or electric
I'm sure there's a thread on this topic but I wanted some fresh opinions.
I recently bought an older G9 and brought her back to life. See pic below. My issue is many of the campgrounds I go to aren't allowing gas carts because "they are too loud and pollute the air." What should I be looking for in an electric cart other than 48 over 36 volt batteries. And what do you all think would be a fair price to sell my G9 for and how much should I be paying for an electric cart? Thanks fellas!!! |

Re: Gas or electric
That's a nice G9. $2500 here is western Pa, eastern Ohio. Perhaps a couple of ticks more down south.
Electric carts are all very similar with regard to functionality. Really, if you buy used battery condition may be your biggest factor. New batts cost upward of $1,000. That $2,000 cart is really $3,000 if the batteries need replaced. The ability to upgrade is another big factor. I would stick with one of the big 3: Club Car, EZ Go or Yamaha as all have many options with regard to upgrading. |
