EXPLODING batteries
Here's a good one. It's happened before, but I didn't have a camera. I think this was # 4 in 12 years. It's happened twice while going from reverse to forward ('02 TXT 36V Fleet cart). A couple others, because they felt like it.

Happened to me with an old Westinghouse mountonair and I was sitting at a yard sale!! That got everybodys attention and double for me as I was sitting right over it. I'm not signing up for any more of that!! Have a good ride,, Stan

Most of the time its a short (spark) in the battery case. The gas (i forgot which it is) is explosive and BOOM! You're not supposed to smoke around charging batteries, alsoThats WTF

It will defineitely skeeer the sheeeit out of you! One went boom in my face. I jumped five foot, up and back. Stood there, stunned, checking to see if all my shaky fingers were there, just repeating wow.....crap,.....wow... shoot...What the hell... dang....WTF!.... I didn't stop vibrating for 10 minutes... no BS.
