Default Cart won't move

Friday night my 48v cart ran fine.....
Saturday, nothing, won't move... charge meter on the cart shows drained and is flashing.
The Alltrax controller has a red flashing light. I don't hear the soleniod click or anything.
I checked the voltage of the batteries... all of them are showing over 9 volts... the total output of the 6 batteries is like 54.5 volts?
Could that be my problem? I looked at the state of charge specs and I am at least a half volt above the fully charged rating on each batteries...
I know nothing about golf cart and am hoping someone on here can help out...

thanks,

james

What year ezgo and what drive system? It sounds like it has been modified?
Do you get a solenoid click when you push the gas?

It has been modified and I am not sure it is even an EZ-Go.
Nope, no click at all... when I turn it on, it battery gauge light will cycle through twice before it stops on the lowest level... then it blinks..
That is when I can see the red light on the controller blink.
Is the voltage being so high a problem?
Like I said, I checked all the individual voltages on the batteries and they are over 9v each.
When I turn the key, I am getting over 50v to the controller.

You are gonna have to give alittle more information... Can you post a pic of the cart or the ID#? The Controller Type and model#? NPX or AXE? The controller is flashing a fault code.... how many times is it flashing red?

Not sure of the model number of the controller... and I have not been able to identify the cart make/model.
I know the controller is a Alltrax DCX, but I cannot see the exact model number with the way the controller is mounted..
The red light on the controller is flashing maybe once a second or so....
I will try and read the model number off the controller in a bit..
Thanks for your assistance thus far....

Likely you have an ezgo DCS cart.... ID tag is in the passenger side glove box....

The last 2 numbers of the manufactures code is the year, located inside the passenger side glove box, the 2004 and newer ezgos dont have a serial number plate in the box, they have a serial number sticker under the rear access panel behind the seat, and then on the driverside frame rail below the floor board, stay away from 96-97 DCS carts, there is a a reason they only built them for a short time,

DCS will have a F&R lever behind the driver's knee and a run/tow switch on the enviromental cover on the controller. The backside of the f&R looks round like a hockey puck.

PDS carts will have a Tow/Run switch with toggle switch for F&R on the dash

SERIES carts will have a shift lever like the dcs cart down by your legs, but it will NOT have a tow/run switch. Also the actual F&R switch is in the corner by the controller and there is linkage from it to the lever in the center.....

The serial number in on a plate under the passengers seat... with nothing but a number on it.. This is all it has LRGGE501A60009xx

The f/r switch is on the dash next to the on/off switch... both are just a push button type rocker switch.

It came a pretty hard downpour of Friday while me and the kids were out riding.. But we didn't cross any deep water or anything...
It was running ok when we parked it in the garage after riding Friday.. Sat morning I plugged in the charger and it appeared to be charging.. Later when the charger had shown fully charge was when I ran into the issue of it not moving..
I am sure when I first turn it on, the soleniod clicked liked normal... but since then, after messing with it and such, checking the batteries and all connections I think it might have tried once. Other than that, it does the same thing... dash light flashes on the lowest setting in sequence with the red light on the DCX controller.
