Solenoid question
just a quick question,
(95 medalist) I just installed all 6ga wires, an alltrax 400 amp controller, and HD F&R Switch and put in brand new batteries. I guess maybe I expected too much but I didnt notice alot of difference in torque. (which is what Im after) should I install an HD solenoid to help it out or am I missing something. I checked to make sure the brakes arent dragging, the batteries are charged. is there something else I should look at? it takes off great but it still loses a little power on long slight grades.... thanks in advance |

Re: Solenoid question
New batterieries will take 10 -20 cycles to reach their full potential. Do not run them down below 75-80% during this time ... never below 50% capacity during the rest of their useful life and they will give their best service!
