Yamaha G8 Torque Problem
I recently got a 1993 Yamaha G8 36 volt golf cart and added a 6" Jake's lift with 20" tires and a utility bed. My purpose is to use it as a hunting vehicle but the motor doesn't have nearly enough torque for hills around here (cart actually stops going up some). Would spending the money on the "Beast" electric motor, new controller, wire upgrades and possibly a new F/R switch solve my problems? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, B

Re: Yamaha G8 Torque Problem
The wizards will chime in but I would start with larger wires and super SUPER clean conections every where.
