500 amp to big
i have a 05 ezgo pds 5" lift 23" tires rear seat 4 ga wires batterys 2 ga to motor . is 500 amp controller to big

Normally a 400 amp will take care of your needs, a 500 amp will only add to it, what are you trying to accomplish? |

400 Amp is all you really need. The bigger you get, you'll see some gains, spend more money and risk problems from more amperage...

bigger is better in my book but to each his own If it aint breaking its not being run hard enough Plus if it breaks you can do more upgrades.

Your stock one should work fine, but if you want to upgrade call D&D motor, they will get you set up with the correct motor for your application, otherwise you could look at the 502 motor from them, you will like the way it performs for ya.

For general use, hunting and utility work, the 400 is fine! The bigger you go, the more parts you change = more potential problems in the future...
