Peacock wanted $393.00 but I bought one on e-Bay for $99.00.
There is a current listing for $68 + shipping...

Also available at nevaccessories.com

I just ordered two Think Wheel Cylinders... I'll repost if they fit.

Question Re: Bombardier NEV owner exchange

Czaroom:

If you cannot mount the new think cylinder physically, can you.......

From the new think cylinder, remove the pistons and seals and put them in the old bom cylinder?

I attached an image of the Think Master Cylinder.
They use a remote Brake Fluid Reservoir, so you will need to use your old Tank. The rest was pretty much a bolt-on.

Thumbs up Re: Bombardier NEV owner exchange

I forgot to mention in......My last post about swapping the pistons and seals are meant for the replacement wheel cylinder if the physical mounting of the think cylinder does not work.

Good info on the "drop in" replacement for the master cylinder.........

I just acquired a 1998 Bombardier Class e car today from my neighbor. It isn't running at this time but it was when they parked in their garage a couple of years ago. I was looking for info when I found this forum. Great to read about the issues and solutions. I am looking to get an owners manual. I saw the links on page 19 but I couldn't access them. Are they still active or is there another place I can download an owners manual?

http://pawlowski.weebly.com/
I am also keeping a list of year/model changes of the boms, would you send me a pix of your unit along with the manf date and vin# from the decal on the lower left driver seat mount?....... edwpawlowski@live.com

ewpwbwi,
Thank you for the manual. I will get the info to you a little later since it is still in my neighbors garage, pending either a good charge or battery replacement. If the batteries have to be replaced what is the easiest way to accomplish the task ? Do you know how others have modified the seat pan for greater access?

page 1 and 4 from downeast and 40flash are the only info on battery access that I know of....I donot want to modify my cart [at least until the time comes and its a must] I think I would try lifting the battery pack 1 inch [or enuf to unscrew the bolts], unbolting, then raising the body front to access disconnection, then raising the front to clear the batt pack and moving the frame/body rearward. mind you that I have not done this, its only a thought on my part.
Ed........
p.s. my guess, after 2 years storage, you will need batteries, unless they were toped off at least once a month.
send me a email
