Default another bad boy buggie....problem

ok i dont have a lot of experiance with bad boy buggies. this one came to the shop this is what it does as soon as you turn the key on you hear a humming noise sounds like it is coming from the controllor. and the owner says it has lost a little power but still runs ok. batteries all test good. its the noise that has me confused. just turn the key to on not even toching the pedal and you hear the humming

Is there a cooling fan on the controller(s)?
Voltage reducer?
Solenoid welded shut?
Is this a new sound?

G man i really dont know how long its been going on looks like ther is a voltage reducer up there the cart drives good foward and reverse he says that he has lost a little power sence he got it.this thing has 4 selinodesthey seem to be working. about a fan i dont know i will look in there tomarrow

ok i talked to bad boy buggie today the sound that i was hearing is the contactor in the 2007 sires modle. they said you hear louder in some then other but is nothing to worrie.
