| I was given a royal ride golf cart for free. Ive never owned a golf cart and dont know much about it...The batteries are very old but still hold a charge. My kids were riding the cart around the house and the batteries would last 30 min +/-. Eventually battery life got lower, then it wouldn’t go forward much and emitted a strong sulfer smell. It goes backward great with no smell. What is the problem…batteries? motor? Ive heard that old batteries like these can reverse polarity? any advice is appreciated…then the next question is it even worth putting the money into this thing to fix it? Its kinda cool looking but other than that is becoming a pain ![]() |
