Default 1980 ezgo wiring problem

I chrged the batts and still have no power when I step on the pedal. Switch seems to work, if anyone has a detailed wiring or suggestions it would be great.
Thanks

If it does go but, lacks power that seems to indicate a battery problem. Can you give voltage readings on the pack and individual batteries?

when you say pack, are u referring to entire system voltage? please excuse my not knowing, 1st time working on golf cart. Myself am an auto tech. trying to fix this thing for my boss. there are a couple of small wires on the micro switches that are not connected and look as if they fell off from corrosion. are there diag charts available like the ones used on obd 2 cars that tell you start here then go to next step?
one of the micro sw was all corroded, getting new one because it was not working. also there is a round elec part between the 2 micro switches, looks like a buzzer or something, what is it?

cart does not go at all. no solenoid click or anything. just seems dead. batts are showing power, had charger on cart for quite a while, still no clicking or anything.

tested solenoid, it works. is there any way to jump power to motor to make it run, or is this not possible or really bad idea? i am used to cars with 12 volt system, jumping a little juice usually won't hurt too much, not sure on this system.

Is the motor parallel or perpendicular to axle?
Three wheeler or four wheeler?
I'll try and find you a diagram.

Jumping 36 volts is more like welding than 12 volts

The motor is perpendicular to the diff, it is a 4 wheeler. The cart is a 1984. Was able to get it to move by putting power to the 2 solenoid small terminals. Still waiting for micro switch to be delivered. thanks for all of the help. This forum and entire site is incredible.
Thx, BOB

Scotty you are very right in that respect. Arced many a screwdriver working on cars but nothing like this 36 volt system. What an arc. Probably could weld something with all the volts there.
