Default 48 volts everywhere, still won't move

Hey gang, Hope everybody is looking here cuz I need some help. We installed 8 new batteries in a cart friday. We have 48 -49.6 volt but still NO GO. The photo is a switch of som type under the driver's floor pan. Anybody know what it is? Electromagnet of some type, only has juice going in, nothing coming out with pedal down or not. When you press down the go pedal, the silver pin move inside of the black plastic piece.

What happens when you close the micro switch? You may have a bad solenoid. Use your ohmmeter to see if the coil is open or whether or not you have a complete circuit to and from the soleniod. Must be some sort of main contactor circuit. Randy

The black thing is the throttle sensor. With a volt meter measure the power on the white and black wires on the ITS. At 0% throttle you should have about .4-.5 volts and 100% throttle you should have 1.4-1.5 volts. Anything else and its junk. This is of coarse assuming everything else is working properly.

Thanks for the input. Turns out we found a solenoid at the rear, under the cargo deck that had failed. Jumpered across and got it running. Two carts we got running today and both had bad solenoids. Guess I better keep some in stock. Also got the "snowed" trike fired up and almot have the rear end back together. Can't decide if we want it to have positrack or not. Any ideas????
