Re: Harley Davidson Cart
Keep it electric and buy a gas one. Much less work.
Just my 2 cents... |

Don't waist your time. If you really want a gasser, get the sparky running, fix it up a little and sell it and put the money towards a gasser. There are plenty of people looking for electrics. As long as its in decent shape you shoul have no trouble selling it. |

Re: Harley Davidson Cart
I would pass on that cart and keep looking for an affordable gasser from one of the 3 major makers.

Re: Harley Davidson Cart
yeah, what they said! If it's cheap, get it and fix it up and sell it if you decide you need/want gas. Electric is better in most cases (faster, more torque, etc.). Unless you meant convert to gas as in a CUSTOM job using a motorcycle engine or something wild/fun like that!

Re: Harley Davidson Cart
I disagree with everyone else. If you are handy with some tools and a little fab work and have a good mind for solving problems, it can be a fun project. but I personally wouldnt start with a good running electric. find on that some one has already stripped or a junker and start with it.
