what year is my melex?
hi all. first off im new to the forum and a virgin melex owner. lol my id tag says its a model 212 and serial # is A2000508. and help on year would be appreciated. also and thing i should look for or watch out for? its a 36v with great batteries and really clean. thanks for your help.

Welcome to BGW and the world of the Melex. I am not quite sure on how do decode the tags. I haven't found any info on how to break them down. if you post up a pic I know from looking we can get you close. Now someone may be able to get on here and tell you exactly. I hope they do(for both of us
 as far as things to look for, it's going to depend on if it's a resistor cart of a controller cart. but the big thing is most of the mods you may want to do are going to be harder to get unless you are handy. I have had to build most of the stuff for my cart. If you want a lift you will have to build that one. I left mine stock height for the look I was after but a lift isn't that hard. there are several here with Melex carts that have built lifts and work well. You are only limited by the imagination!!! . . for the heck of it I emailed Melex in Poland with your carts serial number . . here is the response I got back this morning. . . . what the did not provide is how they compute their serial number . . .
