Default Reversing micro switch?

I acquired a new micro switch for my cushman throttle assembly. And it stays closed when it should be open and vise versa. It's the same exact switch that was in the cart. Is there a way to reverse the switch without mounting it elsewhere? Thanks!

no i just thought his idea was funny ... its a 2 wire switch .. right ??
could switch be bad ?? maybe they shipped wrong switch ... show us where it goes .. may be you can find a switch that works the way you want it to .. but if it is the right switch it must work in the stock location

It's a two post switch, yes. It's for accelerator arm, should let power flow when button pressed, and closed when button open. But it's opposite. Guess ill just have to buy new switch.
