Default New Batterys

I just bought new Trojan Batt. 7/6volt for my 42 volt cart....It seems like it is taking a long time for my charger to charge them,,Lester,,How long should it take to charge new batt.? Thanks

That will depend on the state of discharge and the quality of the connections....A fully discharged pack can take 8 - 10 hours at times....
Are you 100% certain you are using a 42v charger? They are kinda rare.

Thanks for the help,,, They are now charged and the charger has shut off after about 7 hrs:

Sounds good. Check the water level and keep the cable connections clean and tight.....

never heard of a 42 volt system.......interesting................make sure you break those batts in right......they cost to much to shorten their lifespan because they wern,t broke in proper....................................
