Default Battery turned over

I unfortunately had a brand new battery turn over and spill maybe 4 to 5 cups of fluid, this battery hasn't been charged ever and was new, will it be ok? .....should I just top it off with some distilled water or.....?
Any info appreciated.

I'm going to go out on the limb here and say in your specific case that adding distilled water would not be ok... I'd call a local battery shop to get their opinion and ask if they could top off your battery with battery acid as that is what you lost. When a battery is in use and/or being charged some of the water boils off and that is why we replace the lost fluid with water but in your case you lost brand new electrolyte.

No never do that. You did not loose water, you lost electrolyte. Replace it with water, you will dilute the acid remaining in the battery that was lost in the spill. If you replace with water, that battery will have a very weak cell and damage all the rest of the cells impeding performance.

Find a battery shop and have them replace it.

Autozone sells battery acid, I don't know if it's pre-mixed or not.

Ace Hardware sells pure sulfuric acid, you would have to mix it with distilled water in the correct ratio and use extreme caution messing with it. If you mix wrong (out of order) bad things will happen. Even when mixed properly the reaction is something to take great care with as it could melt your mixing container from the heat generated.
