Question bottoming out

2004 Yamaha G22E

Does anyone know if 20 inch tires on 8 inch rims will fit with enough clearance? The wife is complaining that there is one curb she must climb over that causes the bottom to scrape. Right now it has stock/standard 8 inch rims with 18 inch tires. I figure that changing the tires is probably the cheapest way to remedy that problem. She won't go for any major upgrades on her car. She has no problem with me modifying my old '97 CC DS. The only upgrade I have done on her cart so far is added seat belts.
