Default Good for 10 min, then die's, then runs again

My cart was not used or charged for 3 months. Intially it was completley dead and would not run. I have since replaced 3 batteries and the solenoid due to it getting extremly hot. Now the cart will run for a few min and then die. If I flip switch to tow and then back to run it will go another few min. My charger is reading incomplete but my charge gauge on dash says full. Am I dealing with more than 1 problem? Is this more likely to be a charger issue or battery?

It sounds like you need to replace the other three batteries. A battery pack is a series circuit, much like a chain it is only as strong as its weakest link.
You're charger says incomplete probably because the three old batteries will not take a charge. I think The charge gage resets every time you flip the tow switch so it will say full.

The three that have not been replaced are 2 years old and are reading 7.6 volts. Would it be worth trying to charge them invidually for a few min to limp by for awhile? Thanks for the input.

Might try this. Jack up the car, with no load it should run for some time. Have your volt meter handy and push on the accelerator while lightly touching the brake pedal (simulating a load). Check voltage drop of all the old batteries while doing this. Most likely 1 or more likley all 3 batteries will need to be replaced. Rule of thumb, if batteries are more then 1 or 2 years old, changing several batteries will cause an equilization after several chargers and discharges and the new batteries are now the same as the old ones. Wasted money. As for the digital battery gauge....it only reads surface voltage not battery capability, and deep cycle batteries will regain voltage as they sit for a period of time, that's why it would run 10 minutes after sitting and using the run tow switch, IMHO. Good luck with you car!
