g16E motor help. New to this.
I put new brushes in my motor. This worked before I took it apart. Cart was just slow and I saw were it said check the brushes. They were less than .25inch.
Put on cart tonight and tested. Motor just made a wineing sound. Only tried once. Took motor off took back apart didn't see anything wrong. jumped it across 2 6v batteris. Jumper cables just sparked and I stopped. Motor click, but didn't move. Not sure what to do. Thanks to anyone pointing me in the right direction. |

Do not try to run the motor when it's not installed in the cart! The front bearing is not part of the motor so the armature can't turn. You will damage the motor doing this.
