Default G22 Shutting Down Periodically

Hello,

I just purchased a 2007 Yamaha G22 Electric Cart. I've noticed a couple of things:
1. When the pedal is first depressed the cart rolls out quickly and then slows.
2. It seems like the speed is fluctuating during transport even though the pedal pressure seems to remain constant (could this just be the governor?).
3. Every once and awhile, the cart dies. I then flip the tow switch off and on and the cart works again.

There are no modifications to this cart.

Can anyone give me any advice on what the problem or problems may be?

Thank!
