What are your recommendations on lift and tires for a yamaha g29?
I have a 2011 electric g29 and am looking to upgrade the car with a lift and tire package. The cart is used 25% for golf and 75% for roaming the nighbrood streets to haul the family. I like the larger tires and am leaning on the 6" jakes spindle lift with 23" tires on 12" rims. That said I am not offroading so I am waffling my thoughts about the size of the lift. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I like the Jakes 3" lift. Depending on your combination of lift and tires, the rear seat height, if you have one, is getting quite high. fine for kids.

I put the RHOX 6" lift kit on mind with 22" tires and 12" rims looks good. KEV5204 is right the back seat is high for kids. We use ours mostly for our neighborhood.

3" jakes lift kit and 22" tires is a perfect nice looking fit. I like the 3" setup much better compared to our cart with the 6" lift. The 6" lift and tires puts the rear foot deck plate way high in the air and can be tough for older people and smaller kids to climb into the cart. The 6" seems to be a little more tippy feeling when the cart is weighted down with 4 people at higher speeds as well. Overall the best setup in my opinion if you want 22" or 23" tires is the 3" lift. If you don't want to add a lift you can still run 20" tires with no issues.

The 3" jakes lift with those tires will really raise it up a lot more than you imagine.

You better check with your golf course. They may not allow those type of tires on the golf course.
Any decent golf course would not allow such tires. |

Most Golf Courses only allow Turf tires. If that's the case, and you still want the lift you could go with the 3" Jakes and 14" wheels and low profile tires.

You could run the stock tires with the lift while playing on the golf course then put the other tires on for the street and neighborhood.

Dont think stock 8" wheels will clear the spindles on 3 and 6 inch lifts
