Default G29 questions

Recently purchased three 2007 Drives for refurb and had the following problems.

1. I hate how sensitive the pedal is, I can see someone crashing because full power comes on so quickly. I assume this is supposed to be that way because all three do it.

2.Also don't like the speed limiting and the way power is modulated, followed someones suggestion here and disconnected speed sensors. Any possible future problems from that?

3. One has a rubber on rubber squeak at one wheel and can't pin down what that might be, any ideas?

4. Anybody have a basic wiring diagram for these?

5. the cart seems to have ample power, would a lift and tires kill the performance too badly?

Thanks for your help, new to Yamaha's here so learning.

Here's the diagram. Yes, taller tires will affect the torque, but will increase top speed. I'm not an sparky guy so I don't know anything about the electronics.

1- sounds normal, see 2

2- oh, you want to go faster, welcome to the club. Disconnecting the speed sensor will do little for top speed, but it will create "skechy" driving stuff with jerking & odd behavior. I can spot a cart with disconnected sensor before i even drive it into the building.

3-.front or rear wheel?

4- see link above

5- it is actually a puny little controller, it will be quite weak with large off-road tires, but top speed will likely increase.
