dead charger ?
so i go down to the old mans place this weekend for some time off . i asked him when was the last time he plugged in the cart , and he told me last week .. so i plugged in just to check the charge and the charger wouldn't click on .. i checked the voltage at the connector at the cart and the read 37 volts , so that was ok .. so im realizing the problem is in the charger , i'm not getting any voltage out of the timer to activate the coil in the relay but i have voltage going in to it ( the timer ).. if i jump the relay ( the hot wires , not the the coil wires ) the charger comes on ... but if i check for continuity across the coil in the relay i get zero .. could i possibly have a bad timer AND relay ?. and how common is it for these chargers to have this issue ,,, its a lestronic ii charger .... the price of the two parts is almost the price of a charger off ebay .. any recommendations on a replacement charge thats not to pricey . the cart is a g16 36 volt ... thanx folks
