Default Motor on my G14 is a mere shell of its former self

I was carrying on with the disassembly of my G14 this afternoon to get the frame ready for blasting and repair. I noticed the motor was loose and only had two bolts in it. When I removed it imagine the horror. There is no inside to it. And the housing wreaks of burnt electrical parts. So this has me wondering if any of the rest of the electrical is salvageable.

Did you buy the cart knowing that it would need a new motor?

No, I was told it JUST needed new batteries. Far from just batteries.

I did. He told me that he bought the cart in the same condition he sold it to me in. He never got to put batteries in it so he had no idea. Or so the story goes.
