Re: lights/radio hook up
Very Important! Only hook light wires to 2 of your 6 batteries. And no frame grounds.

Re: lights/radio hook up
If you have it hooked up properly to 2 of your 6v batteries, and it doesnt work, a dc/dc convertor wont fix that problem. If it is not hooked up correctly, thats a different story. I have no idea what light kit you are using, i cant say "which wire goes where". I make my own light systems for any application that is not factory equipped with lights. The dc/dc convertor will draw evenly from all batteries, instead of only 2 batts, You should still be able to get the lights to work without one. Check at the bulbs themselves for 12v power.
