Yamaha G19 Digital Meter
I have a Yamaha G19 and am trying to fit a Digital Voltmeter on the Dash. I am taking the positive to the key switch. Is there negative cabling on the dash or will I have to run a 48volt negative cable back through the battery compartment.
Thanks for any help Graham |

Re: Yamaha G19 Digital Meter
I tried connecting positive through key switch and running negative back to batteries. That worked OK but unfortunately when I turned key on it killed the motor controller. Is there another way or will I need to control the meter through an independent switch.
Also will I have a similar problem feeding through the live side of the key switch If that fails I will need to run a positive cable back to the battery box Thanks Graham |

Re: Yamaha G19 Digital Meter
If it destroyed the motor controller, get rid of that meter forever, burn it, bury it, keep it as far away from a golf cart as possible.
