Default series motor question

Men I have been trying to find a use series 36 volt motor for and EZ go golf cart. Without any luck.
I have been told, some of the Yamaha motor will interchange with an ez go.
Does anyone knows for sure? If so, would you please repost and tell me which one.

Thanks
Sonny
