Default g16 Throttle sensor

I just bought a 96 g16 electric. It will not move, it clicks but that's all when you depress the throttle Someone did some re- wiring on it and I found 2 of the 3 small wires to the controller went nowhere. I am trying to locate the throttle sensor, I found a 2 wire switch on the pedal that I expected to be the sensor. There is no other sensor, 3 wire or other, connected to the pedal. Am I missing a part or is it some sort of 2 wire system. I could sure use a wiring diagram if anyone has one. Thanks in advance!

I just found a wiring diagram at mikes golf carts dot com. it shows a 3 wire sensor, so what the heck do I have? some sort of updated wiring?

I bet the switch is the accelerator stop switch, so where is the throttle sensor supposed to be mounted?

There is supposed to be a rod mounted on the left side of the pedal, going to a black box under the floorboard (box is visible with "pedal access cover" removed. The switch on the front of the pedal is not a "throttle sensor", it tells the controller "is the pedal pressed?", not "how far?".

Thanks Cj, I thought the same, the box, the rod, all of it are missing. It will be fun finding all the parts. The sensor is the easy piece to get.

Ahemm, RIGHT SIDE of pedal. That would be confusing to try & assemble, having never seen it before.
