Default Hi/Low Headlights

Hey all,

I noticed my LED headlights support High and Low beam configurations. There's a couple wires in the pigtail with bullet connectors, hook them together for low beam, leave disconnected for high beam. So, I installed a floor switch to take advantage of that feature on the fly. Works like a champ!

Floor Switch:

Low beam:

High beam:

They're RHOX led headlights for Yamaha drive. Got them on EBay, $100 bucks.

Hey xcntrk,
I have the same lights on my G29, installed by the dealer when i bought my 2010 used cart. Headlights were blinding cars and pedestrians till I discovered the cable disconnects in the wheel wells. Odd that you have to disconnect the cables to go from high beam to low beam.

How did you wire the floor switch? Did you gang the left and right headlight cables together at the switch or use a double pole switch?

Hi there. I simply put in a switch in-between those two wires allowing selectable closing of the circuit. I used a single pole switch and tethered the two lamps together.

I just ordered a pair of these. I have tried different bulbs with little success. Look forward to having brighter lights. (with a dimmer) I will have to find me a floor switch like you used! Did you find it at a local auto parts place?
