Default My G8 Yamicar

My G8 Yamaha came to me in a heap...No batteries, a smashed cowl, and 4 flat tires. I wouldn't have bought it... It was given as payment after I fixed the cart of my wife's friend....Which reminds me why I don't work on other people's carts.
I looked and looked for a cowl without any luck. I looked around and I saw 3 or 4 CC cowls...Really they did not look too different.....So I got a beer & here is what happened next.....I cut about 1/2 of the front forward support off and fit the CC cowl onto the cart....It was a wrestling match the corner radius were different. But the Yami gasket was a life saver... I cut the side of the CC cowl to match the Yamaha profile and the rest was just a wrestling match P.S. GP made me post this

Way to "make it work" Scottyb! Ya I'm a Yami guy, but wouldn't have been easier to get a used G14/G22 front cowel? Later Dave
