Yamaha g8 randomely stops
Hey guys!! sorry it has been so long since I posted but everything has been going great with my ez-go. However a family member just purchased an older g8 cart that is in great condition but she is now having some troubles with it. You can be driving along and it just randomly stops!!! After a few minutes it will go again just fine with no more trouble until it stops again. Some background.... I installed new batteries as soon as she bought it which has been maybe 2 months ago, cart has service records of a brand new solenoid, all new cables. I have been doing some research and in the threads it seems that the solenoid or f/r microswitches could be the culprit... but I would like your input.
Thanks in advance!!! Evin |

I have a g-8 that did the same thing. It was the solenoid on mine. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to short the two battery connections together momentarily, and the cart moved. I guess you call my pliers a redneck volt meter
