Default Stock wheel/tire G29 brake options

Hi all. So i have a 2010 yamaha drive. I've upgraded the motor and controller to an alltrax xct 48400 (thanks sctottyb). Anyway, i'm now at 27-28 mph and the internal rear brake is seriously lagging now. I get the fact that they weren't designed to stop a cart at this speed. I plan to get bigger wheels/tires but i'm stuck with the stock setup for a bit. Im curious if there are any brake options for what I'm working with currently all disc setups I find need a min of 10" wheel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you want to run that fast you should consider installing front disk brakes. Rear only won't improve with any changes because you can only do so much braking from the rear before you drag the tires. Your car does most of the braking with the fronts for this very reason.

Thanks Volt. I've seen those front disc kits and they have great reviews, but all of the ones I have seen are for a minumum 10" wheel, and I'm stuck with the stock setup for a bit. Have you seen any that work with the 8" wheels?

I have not done any brake upgrades. I don't like to run faster than 25 - usually more like 20mph.
