Looking for a controller upgrade for Drive AC motor
I can't seem to find an answer surfing the web. Are all controllers created equal? Meaning, is there a difference between a DC controller and an AC controller?
I have a Yamaha Drive with AC motor. I want to upgrade the controller and came across this guy. http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/golf...2008-up)/31948 This controller caught my eye and it says it's for yamaha drive 2008 and up but It doesn't address AC motor compatibility. Thanks! |

Dc motor controller will NOT work with the new AC motor. also, i dont know of any controller upgrades for the new yamaha.

Change your rear end gears
You'll get over 30mph I have a 2016 with a AC motor, thinking of doing it |

Nope. It's gonna be a while. Still no aftermarket controllers for ezgo Rxv, and it came out in '08.
