Default Does the body lift up?

Hello . I have a 1986 G2 that's new to me. I found hinges near the rear bumper. Does the body on this cart lift up? And if so how?

if its acually a G2, the body does not tilt back (only G1 does that). good news is the rear body on a G2 is super easy to remove. 3 screws at the ledge where the rear of the drivers seat rests, and 2 screws under the edge of the mat in the golf bag area, then just lift straight up.

I guess I should do a little more research as to what it is. It tilted back. I had to remove the top but it hinged back. when I put in the year on the Yamaha site it only gave me one option for the manual and that was for a G6.

no G6 model was ever offered in the US, unless its some imported model. i dont know all the model designations sold in other markets. care to post a pic, i can identify any US model with a pic from standing in front of the drivers front corner (and maybe a description of the parking brake latch). have you been able to find a serial number?

The only number I got off it is j36-011249. I'm unable to upload pictures for some reason now but I did post a few in my previous thread subject "Worth"
