Question How does the G29 cart normally accelerate

I now have a new to me 2010 Drive (G29). I am used to driving my former old EXGO.

My question has to do with when stepping on the accelerator pedal I find it hard to very slowly accelerate. It seems that as one steps down the cart will all of a sudden "lurch" forward or reverse. Also, the accelerator seems "notchy" as I speed up.

I was able to slowly move out with the old resistor type accelerator on the EZGO. I want to know if this is normal for the modern electronic controller. The salesman says that is the way it should be!

Do I have a problem or not?

honestly from what your talking about I don't see an issue, other than the jerking or lurching part.

Is your foot "hovering" on the gas pedal? Make sure the back of your heel is resting on the floorboard. I know it sounds dumb, but I have seen this so many times.

good point, when you keep your foot in the air its uncontrolled but when the heel is seated its easy to make a smooth acceleration

At my location of storage, the space is very limited and has many obstacles requiring some fancy driving to not hit things. I have failed and have had to Stop correcting "repair" things because of the facts!

It seems almost impossible to creep the cart into or out of tight locations! the cart starts with a lurch in forward or revers ! I sure miss the creep available with my old resistor based controller on an older EZGO!

Wish there was a solution for this cart.
