How do you charge your G29?

Yes I know how to plug in and etc. I am asking if you guys plug in and switch to the Tow position each time. I wonder if it is necessary to go that step.

Does it charge better as opposed to turning the key off and plugging in and turning on the standard charger?

I never bother to switch to Tow when I charge my Drive.

Thanks! I know the maual says to do it that way and I was not doing it and wondered if it was a benefit to follow directions!

I always switch it to Tow when I charge. It will protect the controller if there is an electrical surge while charging.

If you live in a state that is proun to lightning strikes or power surges, put it in tow.

I definitely agree ^^ I've done both with no see adverse effects .
