Default G16e Question(s)

Sorry in advance for the novel.

I have a G16e that I picked up used and abused on clist. I was able to get it running, but it was having a problem with cutting out intermittently so I decided to rewire it because the existing wiring looked BAD and thought there might be some issues on that front.

I am all done rewiring and am having an issue with the 10a fuse blowing repeatedly and hoping you guys can help me isolate the issue. I have somewhat narrowed the problem.. If I remove item 4 in the wiring diagram (rectifier diode) from the system the fuse doesn't blow and the controller (Alltrax Axe) will power on but then give an error code with flashing red lights, which is to be expected since part of the system is now disconnected.

I'm wondering what is more likely the culprit of the fuse blowing...

1a. Bad rectifier diode (my guess is here for the moment), but I need to buy more fuses to test this further. Ie put item 4 where item 3 is located and see if it blows the fuse, to me that would signify that 1 of my diodes is bad and the other is good.
1b. Bad solenoid (second most likely to me, and perhaps it is both 1a and 1b)
2. Bad accelerator stop switch (seems less likely but what do I know)
3. I messed up the wiring somewhere. I have retraced everything about a dozen times and I'm pretty sure it is all correct but I'm not an electrician by any stretch.

Thanks in advance for advice you guys might have!!! Link to wiring Diagram I have been using...

For some reason it doesnt like the link I tried to add for the wiring diagram. If you google Yamaha G16e wiring diagram it is the first image.
