Default Any ideas would be great!

Hey all.

I am looking for ideas on a way to keep my charger outside at camp while I charge my cart.
Anyone smarter than me come up with a good cabinet or weather resistant idea? Thanx!

Mine sits under my 5th wheel on a small stand all the time. I do put it away if we are having real bad weather , that's far few times

You need to keep it dry but not limit cooling during charging.

One of the outdoor resorts I used to service had a little dog house at each trailer hook up just for the cart charger... Plug in was inside the house, a great idea but not much room for Rover

I like scottyb's idea. I don't know what type of camp you are talking about, but, how about one of those pet carrier things with a cage type door so air could circulate?

The man across the street at our RV park keeps his under a bucket under the RV and takes it out to charge.

I'm glad this topic came up because I've been using a gas cart there for several years now. Next spring I plan to start using an electric and I'm going to have the same issue to deal with. (Had not thought about it until now) Closed in storage area under the 5th wheel has a receptacle, but, parking is limited and can't always park cart at that spot.

So after doing a little thinking and reading the replies here. I came up with a plan that I am going to try this up coming camping season. I have a parts cart simular to the one in the the picture. However more in the size of my charger. I am going to do a little "fabricating" to put a cover on it and make the front of it a swinging door so I can open and charge right from inside. I will post pictures as it comes a long. What do you all think?

Make sure it has plenty of ventilation or you will cook your charger. They do get quite hot when they are running.

Don't see why that would not work. But. how will you keep the top part from filling with water in a downpour? Explain a bit more. I'm brainstorming too.
