Yamaha g14e won't run
I'm working on a Yamaha g14 electric...new controller, new batteries...turn key on and put it in forward and hit the pedal and solenoid clicks but it won't move...any suggestions...I was thinking maybe f/r switch or potentiometer...any tests for those to elimanate one or the other to keep from throwing parts at it

Potentiometer should read 0-1000 ohm from rest to full throttle. Some variation is OK, say 75-925 ohm should still work fine.

They both would have a 0-1k throttle, but I think he's getting in the wrenchin' business. G19 is first to be fully 0-5k throttle, and 48v.

I wish I was charging to fix them but I just fix everyone's cart in the neighborhood...I'm good with ezgo and club car but these Yamaha carts get the best of me sometimes

Cgtech does It matter which two wires I test ohms from on potentiometer? I have a 3 wire plug

Test all 3 possible combinations. One will get 0-1k, one will get 1k no matter throttle position, one will get 1k-0.

Potentiometer checked out, I guess that leaves motor and f/r switch...any test for switch?
