Re: plum quick in yamaha?
I have the PQ Executioner in my G29 with a FSIP 500 amp controller, I am very happy with it. I would like to get an alltrax someday.

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
I did The Bandit upgrade to the stock Hitachi motor on my 07 G29. It went from 12-17mph. I added a 300amp Alltrax XCT and hits 23mph now. Getting the correct field map loaded was a challenge, but Alltrax Tech Support has helped out.

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
Tkj1, I'm curious what kind of speed you are hitting with the executioner. Is your cart the stock height with stock wheels? I called PQ months back and they said they weren't doing G29's, so I bought a motor from Electrical Motor Products. I have an Alltrax XCT 400 also, with the rest of the cart stock and I hit 27 mph. I'm curious about your motor..

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
I would buy a motor from EMP motors. I had a bad experience with plum quick. I had an all trax controller with a 400 amp solenoid and I burned 2 plum quick motors up on my DS. Plum Quick said their motors are built for stock solenoids and controllers. EMP builds motors as for what you want. My cart did 30mph plus with a lot of torq

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
I recently talked to Robby at Plum Quick about a Bandit upgrade on a Hitachi G29 motor to run on an Alltrax XCT400. He will do them, but without their normal warranty. I went with an Admiral MOT-D2. However, the Executioner is a different animal and will do fine in the G29 with the controller upgrades. With it and 20" tires you should get 32+ easy.

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
Good information. I'm guessing my 5 year old Trojan's may be hindering performance a bit. EMP did the high speed banding and claimed it should handle 30 + easily on flats so we'll see what happens when I shell out $900 for new Trojan's : (

Re: plum quick in yamaha?
Good choice on EMP I was very happy with my cart and his motor. I wanted to like Plum Quick but again I Burned 2 motors up within 5 minutes of install. Rob told me it was because I didn't have factory solenoid and controller.
